Photo Friday – “Religion”

This Week’s Photo Friday topic is entitled: Religion

There is Wisdom in the Word ~CordieB.

This is my son, Samuel, reading Book of Samuels in the Holy Bible.

Marcus, my nephew, and Marquese, My Grandson – Children are such a Joy!

. . . . And such is the Kindom of Heaven.

When I see the joy in the eyes of the children; I am automatically transported to Heaven.  ~CordieB.

Cordie, these photos of the children are absolutely beautiful. I love them. Samuel is sooo handsome!
Are the other children yours too? They are gorgeous.

I love the way you’ve chosen to frame them and added such meaningful words too.

A stunning entry. I’d like to award you the Photo Friday – Gold Photo Award. Follow the link to copy it – then if you want you can display it on your blog – or in a blog post! If you display on your blog, you should link it to your winning post ideally. Well done.

Blessings from Jan.

Hey! You earned blog bling — a GoPhoAw! And rightly so. Your entry was worth waiting for, that’s for sure. Gorgeous children and grandchild, too! Wonderful interpretation of the topic. I love the framing and captioning you put together with these lovely photos.

@Jan (Authur) Wow thanks. I feel sooooo honored. Thanks for the award – I can’t wait to display it! It’s the first time I’ve been awarded anything in a looooooong time. I guess I’m living right (smile). Blessing to you and yours . . .

@Curious C. Jan is just fab! Thanks soooo much. I love children – but I’m getting to that age where mine are getting older (Sam’s 15 and my youngest – the other two (girls) are grown) .. . . I’m getting to the age that I’m glad to have a little bit of me time now. Sue Ann is sooo wise. I love reding her view’s on life. Thanks so much for hipping me on to Photo Friday!

@Lou (Linda) “Blog Bling – wow that’s a cool term. Thank you very much. I’m so delighted. You guys have made my week!!!!!

@All. I’m on my way over to your domains now. I’ve been very busy this weekend. Thanks again for the VERY warm welcome to Photo Friday and the Bling award! You’re the best! Peace, Light and Love to you and yours . . . .

You did a fabulous job with these photos. How did you get the bible text behind the image? Did you use a photo manipulation tool?

Great Entry!

@SKY. I used photshop to place Sam’s picture in front of the picture I took of the bible text. I then used the program’s lighten filter effect on the text to spotlight some of the text and darken some of the edges. I got a chance to play with the features I had not used before; so it was quite fun. Thanks for such a very nice comment. And, thanks again for such a warm welcome into PF. Peace, Light and Love to you and yours . . . CordieB.
