Spiritual Riddle
I am the sin of grave covetousness
Bound to mine own self righteousness
Neglecting inner consciousness…
for all my mind craves to possess
I’m the root of imbalance in the land
As visioned pleasures I expand
Amid the poor and weakened man
To whom I dare not lend a hand…
Convincing self in false delight
that I deserve all in my plight…
What I consume is mine own right…
as daytime surely follows night…
The sad thing is I’m never filled,
as nothing ever quite fulfills
the hollow heart that slowly kills
my soul by short lived external thrills…
Hoarding more than I need
can’t quench the thirst of internal needs
with a starving soul and a heart that bleeds…
and decayed root bearing no fruit nor seed…
because one foolishly concedes

Thankful Thursday
Wow, I can’t believe it is Thursday already. I have been rather quiet this week, working on transfering and updating my server based blog over at Reflections in the Mirror. I thought I’d try my hand at this to give me more options on what to do with blog; besides I’ve been paying for the server for two years and have not made good use of it. So, this week has been rather slow in communication with you dear hearts, but do know that you are all in my thoughts, my heart, and my soul.
Today I am thankful that:
1. Tomorrow is Friday, and the weekend is near!
2. I skipped my shower this morning; however, the water is still on so I can take a shower now.
(Visit Oracle of A Pearl)
3. I’m breathing!
4. I’m seeing!
5. I’m feeling!
Remember, we have so much for which we can be thankful. We talk, we walk, we see, we hear, we think and we inhale, we exhale, usually without effort! So, why is it we spend so much time dwelling on what we can’t do, don’t have, and what is going wrong? We can immediately recall negative experiences, people and circumstances without seeing we have the ability to walk away, get away, or make a change! Perhaps we have far too many options from which to choose! Perhaps we simply like complaining? I think if we spend just a little more time saying thanks for what we have, we won’t have so much time to dwell on what we lack. So, let’s activate the devine laws of abundance by being ever greatful for the allness of life. When the universe sees we are conscious of and greatful for what we have, it is buzzed to to shower us with more. Even when it seems the well is dry, we can affirm, "I can hardly wait to see the good that will come from this!"
Peace, Light and Love my kindred spirited sisters and brothers!

More on Colors. . .Just in Case You Didn’t Know. . .
Almost all visible colors can be obtained by the additive color mixing of three colors that are in widely spaced regions of the visible spectrum. If the three colors of light can be mixed to produce white, they are called primary colors and the standard additive primary colors are red, green and blue.
Two colors that produce white when added together are called complementary. The color complementary to a primary color is called a secondary color. The complementary or secondary colors for red, green and blue are cyan, magenta and yellow respectively. These three colors are often referred to as the subtractive primary colors. When the three are combined in subtractive color mixing, they produce black.

Friday Flash Friday 55 – Beliefs ~CordieB.
The following poem is submitted for the fabulous Friday 55, hosted by none other than the G-Man, AKA, Mr. Know it All. I’m about an hour late on my submission, but I hope someone still finds it beneficial on any day of the week. :) Here ’tis…

Belief
Our life is a mirror reflecting our beliefs
Whether laced with joy or riddled with grief
We can only see what we believe real
What we don’t believe can’t be revealed
Change your belief system and you will see
Changed beliefs manifest into reality
Remove the false veil of impossibilities
Infuse your imagination into actualities
