Spritual Riddle…I am the Greatest Spirit of All!
I am kind and patient; not boastful or proud…
I am all knowing, yet humble; not boisterous or loud
I am secure in my stead; not untrusting or jealous
I keep no scores of bad deeds; I’m forgiving….unrebellious
I am thankful for mine; of your’s I’m not envious
I don’t hold resentment to ferment my soul…
In-line with my spirit, it is compassion I hold!
I’m not judgmental; I allow others to be…
That which they are; so their souls might be free
Knowing we all are created from the same mighty force
Good, bad or indifferent; of the same Holy source!
I rejoice in the truth; refrain from deception…
Persevere with great hope, amid pain or rejection.
Not easily angered, remaining kind and protective…
Willing to look closely at life from another’s perspective.
I am the foundation of all Creation thereof…
I’m the most powerful, unfailing, Spirit of all
…I Am the Spirit of Love…
~Written by CordieB, Inspired by 1st Corinthian’s 13 and of course….. Love.
Quote for the Day: When I was a child, I talked like a child; I thought like a child; I reasoned like a child. As I grew, I put childish ways behind me. Then I saw but a poor reflection, as in a mirror. Now I see face to face. Then, I knew only in part. Now I know fully and I am fully known.
And now these three remain…
Faith
Hope
Love
But the greatest of these is…
LOVE
~1 Corinthians 13, The Bible
Another Quote: Knowing is realizing we don’t know it all ~CordieB.
Peace, Light and Love….
Indecisiveness
This poem was prompted by Simply Snickers. The words for this week were: damp, decide, and droll.
Indecisiveness
Indecisiveness takes its toll
On the drollness and lightness of our soul
Made up minds lift the dread filled weight
lingering heavily on our fate
Indecision stunts our growth
though deciding we may loath
one must move through inconclusive’s brace
holding mind, body and spirit stuck in place…
till decisions can be made
life continues, low-keyed; afraid
knowing in the back of mind
choices must be made in time
Preventing souls from moving free
intensifying fears of what may or may not be
lest we move from fear to flight
we may never see the light
Though decisions may be wrong
lack of choice only prolongs
mending of spirit and self torn apart
when in dire doubt, follow your heart

I Can Spread Like Wild Fires… Another Spiritual Riddle ~Written By CordieB

I can spread like wild fires
From one to another
I’m highly contagious
Among family, sisters and brothers
I spread oblivious, at times paralyzing dread
Among unwitting lovers
Many fall so easily for me
Instead of falling for love
Leaving their souls in disharmony
minds and bodies devoid of
natural defenses; protection thereof
If one soul is infected
I can spread to the mass
I have no preference or penchant
to any race, creed or class
I multiply and mutate
With a mere, whispered suggestion
I frequently blow up to pandemonium..
becoming wide-spread infection
I can began as a simple idea
Quickly manifesting into reality
a mere negative thought passed on
is how I’m always first conceived
Deceptive; I am never what I appear
I am the root of all evil,
I am the spirit of fear…

Fellow blogger, phaelosopher, so clearly reminds us in his recent artlce, “A Matter of Choice, The Power of Fear or Love on Swine Flu .. that…
Love lifts the spirits, and with the lifting of the spirit comes an increase in life force energy within our entire being. These are not simply flowery woo woo proclamations.
Placing ourselves in a loving attitude has a calming, harmonizing effect on our cell physiology. It also increases circulation and has a structuring effect on the water that flows within the body, and the organizing effect on the energy field that flows around, and extends beyond it. This produces and enhances a field around us that ultimately influences what happens to us — what we actually experience — from one moment to the next. More…
A Spiritual Riddle – Happy Thanksgiving from CordieB

I am what’s felt when we see a field of wild flowers on a crisp spring day;
I am how we feel when the doctor says everything will be ok;
I am the thought that is often felt when we wake up to a brand new day;
I am what is felt when we see "10 fingers and 10 toes"
I am that feeling of awe that comes from the beauty of spring’s first rose;
I am what is felt when we see the beauty of winter’s first snow;
I am what we feel when our child finally walks in after being out all night;
I am the emotion that one feels when the dark days have finally gave way to light;
I am what we feel when the Christmas hectic is finally over;
I’m that feeling of wonderment in finding a four leaf clover.
You may feel me when you look at the bright blue skies;
You may even feel me when you smell the aroma of grandma’s homemade apple pies;
I can be felt when the lights come on, and everyone in the room shouts "SURPRISE"
I’m that feeling of gratitude when the youngest child graduates from school;
I’m that sentiment some have when the kids know that drugs are really uncool;
You’ll probably feel me when the baby takes his first step;
And you certainly will feel me, if you still have good health and pep;
I am what’s felt when we sat down to the table to eat;
I am how we feel when our significant other rubs our aching feet;
I am the thought that is felt when we appreciate all the Joy in Living;
Who am I,
I am simply, Thanksgiving.
